You need to connect with a few of the top 100 sales volume Lexus dealers in the country, which have been selected to sell this Gazoo Racing brand car. Each of these 100 dealers has a "GT Meister" and by now they've all been through the training program in Texas. You need to be speaking with a few Meisters to be working on developing the relationships.
There is a "vetting" process that you have to go through to be selected to be allowed to buy a car. As they've said, they are trying to filter out investors, flippers and collectors that are going to park the cars and look at them. Having Track Day videos in your current car is one of the type of things that will score you points. They want the cars to land in the hands of people that are going to drive and track them. We are in the beginning of that vetting process now with the Meisters and you need to be preparing your "Resume" and accompanying documents to make your case as to why they should pick you.
From one place I heard 900/yr for 9 years. That's 300 for the USA, 300 for Japan and 300 for the rest of the world per year. I would guess that just as the Corvette gets different models through the generation's life, I would not be surprised to see a GTS and an GTR towards the end of the model's life.
Aside from the prototypes, no cars have been built and nothing is even known about what options exist. There will be 9 colors, but we've only seen a few of them so far. A lot of news should be coming soon.
